Elekta, a medical technology company pioneering clinical solutions for treating cancer and brain disorders, has selected QlikTech's QlikView as its global enterprise Business Intelligence (BI) standard solution.
QlikTech, a business intelligence software company, said that the first roll-out of its applications is taking place in North America, then to Europe with eventual implementation in 20 countries.
With QlikView, Elekta can easily access and analyse crucial business information, through the BI solution’s associative search functionality which helps to generate fast and thorough decisions.
Initially, Elekta is focusing on gaining total visibility into business systems using data from the ERP system Movex and the applications give better control over business processes and, therefore enable faster decisions.
The software will primarily be used in financials, customer service and project management and the company will integrate CRM-applications with the financial system to enable analysis on data from both platforms.
QlikTech Global Sales executive vice president Les Bonney said that QlikView can create detailed analysis of enterprise-wide corporate operations to transform their data into useful, actionable information.
