Elekta KK, a wholly owned subsidiary of Elekta AB, has entered into a sales and marketing agreement with Toshiba Medical Systems in Japan.
Under the agreement, Toshiba Medical Systems will sell and market Elekta‘s products and clinical solutions in the Japanese radiotherapy market, which will ensure that patients there get cancer care through Elekta’s products and services.
Elekta KK president and MD Tim Rooney said the collaboration will enable both companies to extend and enhance their commitment in providing enhanced solutions to the Japanese radiotherapy market.
Elekta KK will manage the overall relationship with Toshiba Medical Systems through its sales, marketing and service organisations and the company expects the agreement to increase sales opportunities in Japan.
