Digital health company Eko Health and healthcare apparel company FIGS have announced the launch of the FIGS | Eko Core 500 Digital Stethoscope in the US.
The product combines Eko Health’s US Food and Drug Administration (FDA)-cleared CORE 500 Digital Stethoscope with FIGS’ commitment to design, comfort, and functionality. It seamlessly integrates into FIGS’ wider product line and layering system.
It is said to have Eko Health’s TrueSound technology with a full-colour screen that displays heart rate and electrocardiogram (ECG) tracing.
The CORE 500’s TrueSound technology is a sound filtering and noise reduction technology that transmits clear and precise heart and lung sounds, the digital health company said.
According to Eko Health, the stethoscope empowers clinicians with vast patient data in seconds at the point of care.
When used along with the company’s FDA-cleared artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, the CORE 500 can detect anomalies in seconds, including atrial fibrillation (AFib), bradycardia, and tachycardia to facilitate patient evaluations.

Under the partnership, FIGS will provide the CORE 500 with earpieces in four colourways to complement the FIGS layering system.
The earpieces of the digital stethoscopes will be imprinted with motivational quotes created by the healthcare apparel company.
