eCareSoft, the US affiliate of the Mexican healthcare IT solutions provider Expert Sistemas Computacionales, has connected Central Texas Hospital’s (CTH) network of six hospitals with its inpatient complete EHR and revenue cycle management technology.
eCareSoft’s EHR is an ONC-ATCB certified complete inpatient solution that uses a shared patient-centric database configuration rather than facilities centric, eliminating the redundant inputting of patient historical information each time an event occurs.
CTH will incorporate eCareSoft’s proprietary fast-track implementation program enabling their hospital network to expedite their ‘meaningful use’ activities in order to qualify for 2011-2012 stimulus funds.
eCareSoft CEO Jorge Camargo said CTH’s interest in connecting their six hospitals with their technology is further validation that they are on the right path with their integrated solutions for small hospitals.
CTH CFO Joe White said eCareSoft offered them an expedited path to achieving ‘meaningful use’ and a flexible solution that really seemed to fit their small hospital environments.
