Doubek Medical Supply (Doubek) has entered into an agreement to distribute D Medical Industries' subsidiary Spring Health Solution's Universal Infusion Set in the US.
The Spring Universal features smallest one-click, all-in-one inserter with a hidden, auto-retractable needle, 360 degree connector.
The Infusion Sets uses Detach-Detect mechanism and in the case the base of the infusion set detaches from the user’s body, a blocking mechanism is triggered which, in turn, creates an occlusion.
This evokes an occlusion alarm in an insulin pump and enables for continuously controlled and monitored insulin delivery, providing additional safety.
D Medical CCO Zoe Myers said they are committed to work closely with all their distribution partners to ensure that their Spring Universal Infusion set product will gain significant awareness, acceptance and adoption.
