DJO Global, a developer, manufacturer and distributor of medical devices and services to musculoskeletal health, vascular health and pain management, has appointed Michael Mogul as its new chief executive officer (CEO).

Mogul recently served as Stryker’s Orthopaedics Group president and provided a business of $3.5bn of reconstructive and trauma implants.

Mogul will succeed Les Cross who is DJO’s current president and CEO, who will assume the role of chairman.

Cross said Mogul’s global sales and marketing experience combined with successfully accelerating revenue growth helps to take DJO to the next level of performance.

DJO Global’s product lines include rigid and soft orthopedic bracing, hot and cold therapy, bone growth stimulators, vascular therapy systems and compression garments, electrical stimulators used for pain management and physical therapy products.

The company’s portfolio of brands include Aircast, Chattanooga, CMF, Compex, DonJoy, Dr. Comfort, Empi, ProCare and DJO Surgical.
