Health Canada and the Secretaria de Salud have granted a medical device license to sell Dfine's StabiliT radiofrequency targeted vertebral augmentation (RF-TVA) system throughout Canada and Mexico.
The StabiliT RF-TVA system is used for the treatment of osteoporotic compression fractures.
Dfine CEO Kevin Mosher said with the North American market established, they will continue to execute their broader global expansion strategy, which will focus on potential growth markets including South America, Asia Pacific and the Middle East.
