Derickson Vision has launched ChromaGen Technology to treat visual reading disorders associated with dyslexia and color blindness in Jacksonville.

ChromaGen technology features prescription-only filtered lenses which are available as eyeglasses or contacts.

The company said ChromaGen filtered lenses can improve visual reading disorders and color blindness by changing the wavelength of light going into each eye, thus allowing the speed of the information traveling along the brain’s pathways to become balanced.

ChromaGen eyeglasses and contact lenses relieve a number of symptoms while reading including blurry, irregular or moving text; double vision; shifting words or letters, or moving spacing between lines; Loss of focus, headaches, nausea and fatigue and color blindness.
