Deltamed to supply T-POD to Romanian Ambulance Services

Deltamed, a Romania dealer of Pyng Medical, has entered into a four year agreement to supply its T-POD to Romanian Ambulance Services.

Deltamed provides solutions for emergency situations including safety equipment, medical supplies, resuscitation equipment, protective equipment, immobilization and transport equipment, diagnostic and therapy equipment and emergency vehicles.

Both Romanian Emergency Services, the Romanian Ambulance and SMURD, the Romanian Mobile Emergency Service for Resuscitation and Extrication, will be using the T-POD, as part of the standard equipment on board their ambulance fleet of about 500 vehicles.

Deltamed president Dan Gorgan said by being able to use one product for the majority of patients and by having such positive effects on the blood transfusion requirement, hospital stay, and morbidity, the T-POD was the only pelvic stabilization device that their customers felt comfortable.
