In the new role, McMurray will be primarily focused on DaVita‘s VillageHealth programs with an emphasis on total patient care.
Recently, McMurray served as medical director for Integrated Care, North America, at Fresenius Medical Care.
McMurray began his career at Fort Wayne Nephrology and in 1996, he became a founding member of Renal Care Group (RCG) and later a formal board member.
Additionally, he directed the coordination and implementation of a diabetes management program at RCG.
McMurray said that his goal is to help educate patients on how to better manage their non-renal-related diseases, such as diabetes and hypertension.
"I look forward to identifying areas that can improve outcomes for DaVita patients with chronic kidney disease," McMurray said.
