Cymetrix, a provider to healthcare organisations with revenue cycle management solutions, has entered into an alliance with Siemens Healthcare for financial system conversion support.

Under the new partnership, Cymetrix will assist in the transition of select Siemens clients from their legacy patient accounting systems to Siemens Soarian.

Soarian manages not just transactions and data, but the process of healthcare and supports the goal of achieving a process-oriented, patient-centric approach to healthcare across departments and care settings to effect sustainable change.

Cymetrix’s system conversion solution preserves the continuity of the healthcare organisations’ cash flow and allows internal resources to focus on the new system.

Siemens Healthcare Enterprise Services Health IT business senior vice president David Hamilton said the conversion support is necessary to accelerate their adoption of Soarian and the agreement will assist customers in a seamless transition.

Cymetrix president and CEO Michael Halberda said more healthcare organisations are seeking a safety-net during the complex and lengthy patient accounting system conversion process.
