Custom Spine, Incorporated (Custom Spine), a US-based developer of surgeon friendly instruments and implants, has appointed Frank Herrington as vice president (VP) of sales for the Southeast region. Frank has over 27 years of experience in the orthopedic and medical device marketplace and has expertise in building sales teams and leadership skills training. He has started his sales career at Johnson & Johnson Services, Inc.

Since then, Frank has held various positions including sales management at Smith & Nephew wound care and Richards Medical Company, where he became a distributor for the orthopedic division of Smith & Nephew for the state of Georgia. Frank has also held sales management positions in the emerging technology field, including Osteobiologics, Nuvasive, and Conformis, Inc. and VP of sales of the Shockwave Division of Dornier MedTech. Recently, he was involved with the acquisition of the Osteobiologics merger with Smith & Nephew focusing on the integration of the new sales team.
