CSI Laboratories, a private national cancer diagnostic laboratory, has leased a 65,000sqft facility in Alpharetta, Georgia, located north of the Atlanta city, investing $15m to its strategic expansion project for a new laboratory, with clinical operations beginning in mid-2011.

In addition to its personalised testing services, CSI Laboratories expects to utilise the new facility for increase in laboratory capacity, medical offices, and administrative support.

CSI Laboratories offers a patient-centric approach to diagnostic care providing specialised testing and core testing services in clinical flow cytometry, immunohistochemistry and diagnostic consultation has remained high.

CSI Laboratories medical director Hertzberg said that they understand the unique role that pathologists play in diagnostic care, and the new laboratory will provide additional opportunities to increase product offerings and capacity to support them in their routine practice.
