The biochemistry analyser can run and screen up to about 150 laboratory tests per hour and produces error free quality results, reports sunnewsonline.

Coscharis Medical managing director Charles Akujobi said the biochemistry analyser will screen liver function, kidney function, spleen, prostrate, thyroid, hormonal, immune reactions and many other highly needed blood chemistry pathological investigations.

ESUT Teaching Hospital chief medical director Gabriel Njeze said they are receiving a biochemistry analyser that is worth N1, 350,000.00 and said the equipment will go a long way in helping the hospital in the challenges of identifying the actual problems of patients in good time for proper treatment.

"He promised that the hospital will put the equipment in good use," Njeze said.
