Corgenix Medical has introduced a new Hyaluronic Acid (HA) immmunoturbidimetric test kit to assess chronic liver disease.
The HA test kit measures blood levels of hyaluronic acid and is designed to be used on automated chemistry analyzers.
The automated HA test kit has been developed under the partnership of the ELITech Group, as per the signed Joint Product Development Agreement (JPDA) in 2010.
Through ELITech the new HA test kit will be available worldwide and it will be available in the US for research purposes only through Corgenix.
Corgenix president and CEO Douglass Simpson said they have a very active development program with ELITech and over the next few years they will bring additional new and exciting products.
The company said HA Immmunoturbidimetric test kit is expected to be CE-marked and is not FDA cleared or approved for diagnostic use in the US.
