The two patents in suit are Cook’s US Patent 5,755,777 and 5,035,706.
On 26 May1998 Cook has received a 777 Patent of ‘Expandable Transluminal Graft Prosthesis for Repair of Aneurysm’.
The 706 Patent ‘Percutaneous Stent and Method of Retrieval Thereof’ was granted on 30 July 1991.
Cook Medical general counsel Cynthia Kretz said they will move forward as swiftly as possible to obtain all available remedies based on Endologix’ infringement of their two patents.
