ConvaTec, a developer of medical technologies, has purchased all the assests of Boston Medical Device (BMD).
BMD distributes specialized medical devices and related healthcare products and services on a Pan-Latin America basis.
The acquisition allows BMD to become ConvaTec’s product distributor through out the Latin America.
BMD president and CEO Erich Roht said it is excited to become part of the ConvaTec family and to be able to work even more closely with ConvaTec to continually provide the quality products and services their customers have come to expect, and that the patients who use their products on a daily basis deserve.
ConvaTec developes technologies for Ostomy Care, Wound Therapeutics, Continence and Critical Care and Infusion Devices to support healthcare professionals from the hospital to the community health setting.
