Connecticut Spring & Stamping (CSS) is on schedule to receive ISO 13485 certification for its quality management for design and manufacturing of medical devices.
CSS’ commercial products include springs, metal stampings, machined stampings & sub-assemblies, which are designed for use in medical, electronics, aerospace, firearms and defense industries.
The certification will be granted based on thorough documentation review, followed by an on-site visit to review and assess CSS’s day to day operations.
Upon successful completion of the audit, CSS is expected to receive ISO certification in 2013.
Achieving ISO 13485 standard will meet the company’s desire to expand its growing medical customer base and further enhance its capabilities with Tier 1 suppliers.
