Underwriters Laboratories (UL) has granted ISO 13485:2003 and ISO 9001:2008 certifications to Code Refinery's software for use in medical, laboratory and in vitro diagnostics devices.
The certification was based on the evaluation of Code Refinery’s quality management system.
Code Refinery business development director Samir Dandekar said the company’s mission is to achieve the standard in software quality, safety, and reliability for its clients and their customers.
"Achieving ISO 13485 and 9001 is a major accomplishment for our company and confirms our position as a solid development partner," Dandekar added.
Code Refinery, as a OEM supplier of software products and services, has developed and tested software applications used in clinical lab diagnostics, point-of-care devices, imaging and surgical tools.
