Singapore-based medical software provider Claritas HealthTech has partnered with PwC to roll out, deploy, and support a suite of medical image enhancement and AI diagnostic software.

Claritas offers image enhancement and reconstruction software, iRAD and iPET, both approved by the US FDA.

The iRAD solution can be used to enhance MRIs, X-Rays and CTs, to improve the first-time reading, reduce the need for re-scans, and improve diagnostic accuracy.

The iPET software enables advancing the PET-CT/MRI acquisition while significantly reducing the amount of contrast dosage needed.

Both solutions provide modality-agnostic and cost-effective solutions to address the pressure on the medical imaging and diagnostic ecosystems, said Claritas.

Claritas CEO Chetan Baxi said: “This collaboration with PwC will accelerate our global deployment strategy and deliver significant benefits to clinicians across practice areas.”

“PwC global healthcare leader Anthony Bruce said: “PwC works with national and local healthcare providers to deliver real, workable solutions to today’s challenges.

“We are always excited to work with new technologies, like Claritas, which seek to address some of the key bottlenecks in healthcare.”

According to Claritas, medical imaging is the first and most important step in medical journeys.

However, limited clinician bandwidth, high cost of equipment, and limited shelf life of contrast agents, among others, present one of the big challenges in the healthcare industry.

PwC has a network of companies in 152 countries with nearly 328,000 people who are committed to delivering quality assurance, advisory and tax services.

Claritas conducts research and development in the fields of image enhancement, machine vision and AI with a focus on medical image processing, interpretation and diagnostics.

The company offers powerful and effective software products created using image enhancement and AI technology, to assist doctors in medical diagnostics.
