Children's of Alabama, a not-for-profit hospital, has chosen iSirona's software - device connectivity solution.
The hospital will use iSirona’s software to streamline the delivery of medical device data into its Allscripts electronic medical record (EMR) to eliminate the need for manual transcription by clinicians.
The hospital will begin its connectivity efforts with 131 beds in its critical care units, collecting data from over 300 ventilators, pumps and monitors.
Isirona president Peter Witonsky said iSirona’s device connectivity will help lighten clinicians’ documentation tasks and allow them to deliver direct patient care.
