CDI leverages Merge RIS v7.0 in conjunction with the installed Merge RIS solution to meet the meaningful use system certification requirements.

The Merge RIS solution offers access to a patient portal, integrated e-prescribing and clinical decision support capabilities, as well as the functionality to capture and report on current and future metrics required to demonstrate meaningful use of electronic health records.

CDI CIO Steve Fischer said not only Merge was able to demonstrate a clear path to meet meaningful use requirements for radiology, we are also providing the flexibility they need to integrate their solution with existing technology.

Merge Healthcare CEO Jeff Surges said innovative providers like CDI are demonstrating how radiologists can meet Meaningful Use requirements while streamlining their processes and meeting the highest patient quality metrics.

"With more than 90% of radiologists considered eligible professionals for Meaningful Use, we are excited to create a platform to support this important specialty in the healthcare industry," Surges said.
