Under the contract, HealthTrust members will have access to Carestream’s DRX-Revolution Mobile X-ray system, DRX-1 system, DRX-Mobile Retrofit Kit, DRX-Evolution DR suite as well as DRX-Ascend system.

The company said Q-Rad Digital DRX systems are available from its Quantum Medical Imaging division.

The DRX-Revolution is used in bedside imaging and can easily move form one area to another, while the DRX-Evolution can be configured to fit each user’s budget, space and workflow needs.

Other systems including DRX-1 system allow facilities to convert existing X-ray rooms to DR and DRX-Mobile Retrofit kits can be integrated with existing mobile X-ray systems to deliver immediate image access and specialized visualization software.

Carestream US&C medical sales general manager Doug Spotts said HealthTrust members now have access to the company’s high resolution X-ray systems and wireless DRX-1 detector.

"Our DRX systems address a wide range of imaging needs — from orthopedic practices and imaging centers to hospitals and healthcare systems," Spotts added.
