AI-based remote monitoring company care.ai has announced a continuous collaboration with Google Cloud to enable its portfolio of care solutions accessible on Google Cloud Marketplace.

The collaboration will allow healthcare organisations and care facilities to access the company’s Virtual Nursing solution and adopt its Smart Care Facility Platform.

Smart Care Facility Platform combines ambient intelligent monitoring and virtual care workflows for healthcare on the company’s advanced micro-edge devices.

The partnership will allow acute and post-acute facilities to engage with its platform easily and securely, through Google Cloud Marketplace, said the AI healthcare company.

care.ai CEO and founder Chakri Toleti said: “Our Smart Care Facility Platform, with generative AI, is ushering in new multimodal experiences that enhance and improve how clinicians work and interact with patients.

“Collaborating with Google Cloud allows us to introduce our Platform to a broader array of hospitals and nursing homes worldwide, streamlining clinical care operations and elevating care quality by enabling clinicians to focus on delivering more empathetic and timely care.

“We anticipate further collaboration opportunities with Google Cloud and are excited to continue revolutionising healthcare together.”

care.ai said that its technology will create responsive facilities that optimise clinical and operational workflows to advance care environments, including hospitals and nursing homes.

The company’s platform uses advanced sensors and artificial intelligence to establish the foundational infrastructure for awareness within the smart facility.

By integrating ambient and virtual care workflows, the platform will automate labour-intensive processes, saving nurses’ time, and reducing the need for multiple technology systems.

Google Cloud healthcare and life sciences ISV partnerships director Riju Khetarpal said: “Ambient intelligence holds the potential to resolve numerous issues plaguing healthcare facilities today, from workforce shortages to disjointed patient care.

“Care.ai’s ambient monitoring solution, now available on the Google Cloud Marketplace, gives healthcare organisations the ability to easily integrate care.ai’s technology with their existing systems.”

Furthermore, care.ai partners with health systems and long-term care facilities and has implemented its platform in more than 1,500 healthcare facilities.
