Cardiac Science, a provider in automated external defibrillator (AED) and diagnostic cardiac monitoring devices, has completed certification with Allscripts Professional Electronic Health Record (EHR).
The latest certification extends its HeartCentrix cardiology device connectivity solution for its resting ECG, stress and Holter monitoring products to support Allscripts Professional EHR for small and mid-sized physician groups.
The connectivity between Cardiac Science’s equipment and the Allscripts EHRs are said to help physicians streamline the diagnostic cardiology workflow in their offices, eliminate a source of data transcription errors, and provide a unified view of patient diagnostic data.
Cardiac Science president and CEO Dave Marver said their connectivity solution with Allscripts Professional EHR reaffirms their commitment to provide connectivity with the EHR solutions.
