Medical professionals require solutions that provide low x-ray dose to the patient with real-life application. Canon U.S.A., Inc., a leader in digital imaging solutions, and Virtual Imaging, Inc., a Canon U.S.A., Company, will feature their complete lineup of digital radiography (DR) solutions at the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) Annual Meeting on November 29 to December 4, 2015 at McCormick Place in Chicago.

Located in the South Hall, Booth #2539, North Building, visitors to the booth will be part of exciting benchmarks, including the addition of a new mobile device to Virtual Imaging RadPRO1 Mobile Digital X-ray System product family powered by Canon DR technology.

Visitors to the Canon booth will be the first to see how the companies’ technology, including a mobile device ideal for military environments, can help medical professionals work in challenging hospital environments, as well as how these products can help military and first responders make quick, confident diagnoses in the field.

To help provide customers with peace-of-mind and savings, product experts will be available to explain the new Protection Plus Program. Designed for today’s busy radiologists, the Protection Plus Program3 is convenient, cost-effective and reduces downtime on-site.

"Since launching the world’s first digital radiography system, the CXDI-11 detector, in 1997, Canon Inc. has been dedicated to providing radiologists with the technology they need to meet the demands of the industry," said Tsuneo Imai, vice president and general manager, Healthcare Solutions Division, Business Imaging Solutions Group, Canon U.S.A., and president, Virtual Imaging, Inc.

Technologies highlighted in the Canon RSNA booth will include:

RadPRO OMNERA family of Digital Radiography Systems

Promoting flexibility with a robust yet lightweight design, the RadPRO OMNERA 400A Auto-Positioning Digital Radiographic System and the 400T Digital Radiographic System, with their tracking capabilities, help reduce the physical demands placed on radiologic technologists while also delivering consistent, easy exams with high throughput. Featuring advanced applications and seamless integration with select Canon CXDI digital detectors (sold separately), these versatile systems help promote the efficient delivery of patient-focused care, whether used in the trauma room or as a workhorse in the radiography room.

Mobile Solutions for Streamlined Workflows

Ideal for use by military, first responders or humanitarian organizations, the RadPRO 4kW Portable Radiography System provides digital images which can be previewed within three to five seconds with 125 micron pixel resolution, and features its own power source. The RadPRO 4kW Portable Radiography System is a forward deployed unit and features a compact, lightweight design ideal for use in the field.

RadPRO DELINIA 200 Digital X-ray Acquisition Cart and Canon CXDI-801C, CXDI-701C and CXDI-401C Wireless DR Systems

The RadPRO DELINIA 200 Digital X-ray Acquisition Cart comes equipped with a computer, access point, touch screen monitor, detector holder, and a choice of the Canon CXDI-701CW, CXDI-801CW, or CXDI-401CW Wireless DR system, which each offer the auto-detect feature and provide a cost-effective, flexible upgrade path to DR.
