BSD Medical said Med-Italia Biomedica (Med-Italia), a distributor and manufacturer of products designed for the interventional radiology and oncology market in Italy, purchased the MTX-180 system and coordinated the delivery of the treatments.
Reportedly, the US Food and Drug Administration has granted 510(k) clearance to market the MTX-180 for ablation of soft tissue.
BSD has also received CE marking for the MTX-180 System.
