Bradshaw Medical, Inc. (Bradshaw) has started construction of a new headquarters and manufacturing facility, the Kenosha News reported. The formal groundbreaking ceremony for the building will occur in late September 2009 at 10325 58th Place in the Business Park of Kenosha. The company planned to construct 30,000-square-foot office and manufacturing facility, with another 30,000-square-foot expansion in about five years.

Founder and Chairman Guy Bradshaw said he hopes to move the company into the new building next spring.

“I would say our growth is between 10 and 20 percent this year. We’re pleased with the way things are going given the economy,” Bradshaw said.

He said the company is concerned about ongoing health-care reform efforts and the ultimate impact of the state health-care industry on the business.

“We’re looking for controlled growth,” he said.

Bradshaw designs and manufactures hand-held surgical tools, specializing in tools for spinal orthopedic surgeries.
