Boston Scientific has introduced Coyote Balloon Catheter to treat patients undergoing peripheral angioplasty procedures below the knee.
The Balloon Catheter is an ultra-low profile 0.014 inch dilatation catheter and is available in lengths up to 220 mm on both over-the-wire (OTW) and Monorail platforms.
The Catheter features a crossing profile, ultra-low lesion entry profile (0.017 inch) and a shaft optimized for deliverability.
Boston Scientific Peripheral Interventions Division president Jeff Mirviss said with an ultra-low profile and extended balloon lengths on a variety of catheter platforms, the Coyote Balloon Catheter is designed for interventionalists treating patients with peripheral lesions below the knee.
