The Charger PTA is designed to be used during post-stent dilatation as well as conventional balloon angioplasty to open blocked peripheral arteries.
It features high rated burst pressures (up to 20 ATM for selected sizes), rapid deflation, and a low lesion entry profile.
The Charger PTA is compatible with a 6 Fr sheath for 10×80 mm balloons and is available in various sizes including 3-12 mm diameters and 20-200 mm lengths on 75 or 135 cm shafts.
Boston Scientific Peripheral Interventions Division president Jeff Mirviss said the Charger PTA Balloon Catheter is designed to deliver results in both routine and challenging cases.
"With a low profile and tapered tip, it is engineered to provide excellent push without sacrificing track," Mirviss said.
