Bizmatics has received Surescripts certification for its PrognoCIS EMR. The product is expected to offer healthcare professionals with healthcare services and patient safety while managing their revenues and profitability.
The company said that in addition to electronic prescription and refills, PrognoCIS customers can enquire medication eligibility for patients, have formulary support and benefits, get medication history from PBM and send e-prescription activity report to Surescripts.
Availability of prescription benefit information at the point of care will allow prescribers to determine the clinically appropriate and cost effective medication for the patient. PrognoCIS is a qualified e-prescribing system and providers using complete e-prescription module in PrognoCIS will be able to benefit from CMS e-prescribing incentives.
