The Korean Food and Drug Administration (KFDA) has granted marketing approval to Biolase Technology's Waterlase iPlus all-tissue dental laser systems.
Waterlase iPlus utilizes patented and patent pending technologies and with its Intuitive Power Control it provides minimal to no pain or discomfort, minimizes the need for local anesthetia.
It also eliminates the risk of bacterial and viral cross-contamination associated with conventional drills and burs, and preserves the tissue biologically intact, without damaging micro-fractures of the tooth structure, claims Biolase.
Biolase Technology vice president William Brown said their distributor, MJ DMT is totally focused on Biolase products and is now taking orders and initiating an advertising and marketing campaign.
