Biolase Technology, a manufacturer and distributor of dental lasers, has received Health Canada approval to sell its Waterlase iPlus all-tissue dental laser systems throughout Canada.
The Waterlase iPlus, with its Intuitive Power Control, provides minimal to no pain or discomfort, minimizes the need for local anesthetic in most restorative cases.
The dental laser eliminates the risk of bacterial and viral cross-contamination associated with conventional drills and burs, and preserves the tissue biologically intact, without damaging micro-fractures of the tooth structure, claims Biolase.
