BioDrain deploys Streamway system at two surgical facilities in Minnesota

BioDrain Medical has deployed the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) cleared Streamway system at two surgical facilities in Minnesota.

BioDrain’s automated, patented, surgical fluid disposal system eliminates operating room workers’ exposure to blood, irrigation fluid and the related germs, viruses and diseases found in the surgical environment.

BioDrain claims its Streamway system automates the collection, measurement and disposal of surgical fluids.

The Streamway system improves the Occupational State and Health Association (OSHA) and other regulatory compliance, and improves efficiency of the operating room.

BioDrain CEO Kevin Davidson said they are very pleased that surgical personnel in these facilities are finding the Streamway System to be a highly efficient and cost-effective means to automatically dispose of surgical waste fluid.
