Biocompatibles posted a gross profit of £13.41m for the six months ended 30 June 2010 compared to £10.91m in the same period last year.

The company generated a net profit of £1.2m for the six months ended 30 June 2010 compared to £0.7m in the same period previous year.

Biocompatibles chief executive Crispin Simon said that revenue growth has been strong for the first half of the year.

“We are pleased to have moved into profit and intend to remain there whilst maintaining our commitment to developing and growing medical therapies,” Simon said.
