BioCision has agreed to a co-promotion program with Biohit, under which Biohit's ErgoTube microcentrifuge tubes will be branded and sold by both Biohit and BioCision.

In addition, as per the agreement, Biohit will cross-promote BioCision’s thermo-conductive CoolRack microfuge tube racks for use in combination with ErgoTubes.

Michelle Nemits, vice president of sales and business development for BioCision, said: “BioCision’s CoolRacks allow for the standardized cooling, freezing and thawing of samples stored in easy to open ErgoTubes. This co-promotion agreement allows BioCision to offer scientists the perfect combination of products that have been optimally designed for bench-top sample handling and improved productivity.”

Richard Miceli, director of sales and marketing at Biohit, said: “The complimentary nature of ErgoTubes and CoolRacks makes them ideal for cross-marketing. We are pleased to be entering into this partnership with BioCision to co-promote our company’s products, and we look forward to opportunities to expand this partnership in the future to include other product lines.”

Biohit, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Biohit Oyj, a Helsinki, Finland-based company develops, manufactures and markets liquid handling and diagnostic products for use in research, health care and industrial laboratories.
