Becton, Dickinson And Company (BD), a medical technology company, plans to start trial operations at its new prefillable syringe manufacturing facility in Tatabanya, Hungary, the Napi Gazdasag reported. The current global economic crisis had not delayed development works and the plant will be up and running soon. The regular manufacturing in this plant is expected to start as per schedule in January 2010.
BD announced the opening ceremony for its new prefillable syringe manufacturing facility in Tatabanya, Hungary on September 30, 2008. The EUR100 million capital investment project is expected to generate about 500 new jobs in Tatabanya and the surrounding communities in the next six years.
