
The acquired business will improve BC Technical’s position as the independent service, systems and parts provider for CT, MR, NM, PET and PET/CT. It will also help the firm to become as the viable alternative to the OEM.

Based in North Canton, Ohio Valley Medical Systems is an independent service organization (ISO) that is specialized in Hitachi open MRI systems.
Ohio Valley provides Hitachi open MRI systems, including Airis, Airis II, Elite and Altaire systems.
Ohio Valley Medical Systems CEO Thomas Hineman said: "This will prove to be a valuable asset to our customers by expanding our service capability to other product lines and manufacturers."
In June this year, BC Technical acquired Atlas Medical Technologies, which is a provider of CT and MR refurbished and pre-owned systems, service and turn-key projects.
Established in 1995, BC Technical is a non-OEM medical imaging solutions provider with operations in all the 50 US states.
