Bausch + Lomb introduces Biotrue ONEday lenses

Bausch + Lomb, a provider of ophthalmic surgical devices and instruments, has introduced daily disposable contact lens, Biotrue ONEday.

Bausch + Lomb global vision care president Sheila Hopkins said Biotrue ONEday lenses feature a new material, Hypergel, which provide contact lens wearers comfortable vision throughout the day.

Bausch + Lomb executive vice president and chief medical officer Calvin Roberts said HyperGel helps Biotrue ONEday contact lenses mimic its own healthy tears and are proven to maintain the same 78% of moisture level as the natural eye.

"This helps them retain their shape and maintain clear vision throughout the day," Roberts added.
