Infusion therapy and pain management products provider B Braun Medical has filed a multi-count patent infringement suit against CareFusion 303 in the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois located in Chicago.
The CareFusion infringing products include Alaris System 8000, specifically, the Alaris Auto ID and Mobile Systems Manager modules in CareFusion’s smart medication system product line.
B Braun Infusion Systems Division VP said the lawsuit was necessary to protect B. Braun’s highly valuable technology and patent rights.
