Avrio Biopharmaceuticals, a provider of medical device services, has named William Botha as new president.
Botha has core strengths in packaging, device assembly, GMP, GDP, bulk production, purification, filling, lyophilization, labeling, fractionation, perfusion and field inventory management.
Previously, Botha served as senior director of operational excellence at Genzyme and also worked as plant manager and director of pharmaceutical manufacturing at Baxter Healthcare.
Avrio Biopharmaceuticals CEO and founder Assad Kazeminy said William brings an important combination of strategic, financial and operational experience.
"I am certain that he will play a critical role in the success of our organization," Kazeminy added.
