Aushon BioSystems, a provider of multiplex immunoassay products, has appointed Martin Verhoef as the company's new chief executive officer (CEO).
Previously, Verhoef worked at the molecular diagnostic firms, MiraDx and PrimeraDx, as CEO and was a member of Ciphergen’s executive team, where he led the company’s BioSystems division.
Verhoef also held various senior management roles at Agilent in Germany and the US.
Aushon BioSystems CEO Martin Verhoef said he is delighted to join the company at this stage of development.
"The new Cira platform has been exceptionally well received and is already being adopted by key customers throughout the life science industry," Verhoef added.
"I strongly believe that CiraPlex will become the platform of choice for protein biomarker analysis and will help drive personalized medicine."
