ATS Corporation (ATSC), an information technology company that delivers innovative technology solutions to government and commercial organisations, has been awarded a $13.3m contract over a five-year term with the National Cancer Institute (NCI).

Under the contract, ATSC will continue to provide software development services for the NCI Center for Biomedical Informatics and Information Technology (CBIIT) in support of its grants management systems.

ATSC chairman and chief executive officer Edward Bersoff said that ATSC has provided software development services for nearly a decade in support of National Cancer Institute’s administrative systems and grants process which funds significant cancer research initiatives.

“We are pleased to have been selected by NCI to continue performing these software development services. This contract is especially significant because it represents our company’s first major award under the Alliant government-wide acquisition vehicle, and positions us well for future increased activity under this vehicle,” Bersoff said.
