As per the agreement, MedQuist will offer mobility enabled solutions, digital voice capture, a speech recognition and document workflow platform, voice-enabled EHR functionality and transcription services to Aspirus.
The speech recognition technology will help the company in improving productivity of their in-house transcriptionists while boosting physician adoption and usability of their EHR.
With MedQuist, Aspirus intends to complete critical ED work, reduce discharge summaries from 72 hours to less than 24 hours, and reduce cardiology reports from 24 hours to less than 12 hours.
