Arriva Medical, a supplier of diabetic devices, has purchased AmMed Direct for approximately $23m.
Arriva said the transaction deal included a cash payment of $21m at closing and contingent payments are expected to total $2m.
As part of the acquisition, Arriva has purchased certain operational assets and has also leased a portion of the space in which AmMed previously conducted its business.
AmMed serves people with diabetes and support them through its better care program, an ongoing educational service to help people better manage diabetes.
