ApaTech Limited (ApaTech) has appointed Jill Schiaparelli to the company as vice president - commercial strategy and business development of the company and Melanie Marshall as vice president - clinical operations of the company. Both Jill and Melanie will report to chief executive officer Simon Cartmell and will become members of the company’s senior management team. The company also appointed Todd Clearwater as vice president - national sales in the US.

In his role, Jill will be responsible for global commercial strategy and all US and OUS marketing activities including commercial input to new product development and portfolio expansion through acquisition and licensing. Prior to joining ApaTech Jill held a series of global strategy and marketing positions at Johnson and Johnson, including Ethicon/Ethicon Endo.

In his role, Melanie will be responsible for the conduct of pre and post approval clinical studies and the acquisition of clinical data in support of marketing and regulatory objectives. Immediately before joining ApaTech Melanie was responsible for clinical strategy and execution across several divisions of Boston Scientific, prior to which she gained extensive experience in the Spine division of Medtronic Inc.

Todd had a successful career at Kyphon, setting up and managing their national market expansion activities. Following his time at Kyphon, Todd served as Senior Vice President Sales at Interventional Spine Inc. Todd will be responsible for all US sales and sales related activities reporting to Steve Czick, president, ApaTech.
