American Medical Systems (AMS) has unveiled new Conceal Low Profile Reservoir, an enhancement to the AMS 700 three-piece inflatable penile prosthesis for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED).

The Conceal reservoir is compatible with all AMS 700 cylinder and pump configurations and offers the flexibility of a one-size-fits-all design that can accommodate 65-100ml of fluid, based on the specific needs of each patient.

The flatter, low-profile design features the same functionality and reliability as the current spherical reservoir, and Conceal is available with or without AMS‘ InhibiZone antibiotic treatment.

AMS’ penile prosthetic solutions provide a permanent, surgical option for men who are unsatisfied with the results from other ED treatment options, such as oral medications, and have at least a 91% patient satisfaction rate.

AMS Men’s Health senior vice president and general manager Whitney Erickson said with this new reservoir design, AMS continues to demonstrate their commitment to prosthetic urology and support to their physicians.

"As a company, we remain dedicated to raising the bar for innovation in the treatment of erectile dysfunction, and our customers can rest assured that we will continue to invest in new technology to improve the treatment options for physicians and the quality of life for their patients," Erickson said.
