Amedica Corporation, a spinal and orthopaedic implant and instrument company focused on unique silicon nitride ceramic technologies, has shifted into a newly built 57,000 square feet global headquarters. The corporate offices moved in mid August 2009 and manufacturing will move into a 28,000 square feet area later this year.

Amedica believes the new space will support another two to three years of steady growth. The new location comes with an option on the adjacent property, providing an additional 100,000 square feet when needed.

“The Board of Directors and entire Amedica team are pleased to be in the position of growth which enables the company to move to our new facility. This move will support our domestic and international growth as we continue to capture additional market share. Designing and constructing your own facility that properly addresses all of your immediate and foreseeable needs is clearly advantageous as we continue to focus on quick, responsive customer care,” says Ben Shappley, chief executive officer, president and director.
