As part of an innovation lab partnership between Palomar Health and AirStrip, Palomar Health will act as the pilot site for AirStrip ONE Cardiology for Windows.
AirStrip ONE Cardiology is the AirStrip’s first release for Windows 8.1, and the company will soon announce other mobile clinical solutions.
AirStrip CEO Alan Portela noted mobility is no longer defined as just smartphones and tablets.
"This release of AirStrip ONE Cardiology for Windows 8.1 supports our vision of developing a consistent and seamless user experience for mobile clinical professionals, regardless of form factor.
"Enabling clinicians to access vital data from across the care continuum in a single unified format will result in an increase in mobile utilization, helping to drive transformation toward higher quality, more efficient care that mitigates the increasing pressures on a fast-changing healthcare system," Portela added.
Palomar Health chief innovation officer Orlando Portale said: "We look forward to helping drive this exciting new phase of healthcare transformation, which will include an AirStrip ONE Cardiology solution that incorporates a variety of additional data sources and functionality."
AirStrip ONE Cardiology’s release is yet to receive regulatory approval.
