Aircraft medical said that the McGRATH MAC combines the traditionally shaped Macintosh laryngoscope blade with the strengths of McGRATH technology and design.

McGRATH MAC has been designed to address increasing clinical demand and make video intubation technology more accessible to doctors world-wide to treat difficult airway procedures, Aircraft Medical said.

Aircraft Medical CEO Matt McGrath said that they have made the case to strengthen their position in the video laryngoscope market and the McGRATH MAC will expand their customer base and will help drive their next phase of growth.

The McGRATH MAC was CE (Conformite Europeenne) marked in May 2010 and US Food and Drug Administration registered in September 2010, and will be available for initial customer deliveries in December 2010.
